Eng. Nader Samir, Chairman of the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport, headed the Egyptian delegation in the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport, which was held in Sharm el-Sheikh and lasted for two days and headed the Jordanian delegation Eng. 
Eng. Nader Samir stressed the importance of continuing the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, Egypt and Jordan, and strengthening and strengthening the bonds of mutual cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of land transport to facilitate the transport of goods and passengers, which reflects on the process of economic and trade exchange between the two countries. On the continuation of the mechanism of entry of trucks and refrigerators to the territory of the two countries through the Aqaba-Nuweiba route until the end of this year in accordance with the provisions of the land transport agreement between them, adding that the Egyptian side has provided specialized technical workshops in Nuweiba Customs Jordan Customs was informed during the joint customs committee held in April 2019
For his part, Eng. Naim Hassan, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, requested to provide a detailed list of fees and allowances collected from Jordanian trucks in and outside Nuweiba port under financial receipts, to be announced to the carriers. He pointed out that the Egyptian side handed his Jordanian counterpart a list of the required fees. He also explained that coordination is underway with the concerned bodies to implement the one-window system so that all fees and amounts are collected to all parties through a unified bill. 
It was agreed to hold the next meeting of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport in Amman in the last half of December
